Parents can use this checklist as they visit preschool programs when their child is preparing to "graduate" from their early intervention program and enter preschool. NOTE: In Colorado , CHIP is committed to providing additional support and technical assistance to any preschool program that enrolls a child with a hearing loss. Individualized support is available from a cadre of professionals who are specifically trained to work with preschool-age children.
